Cost: $15.00/athlete, no charge for coaches/judges Entry Deadline: Friday, August 12, 2011 - final schedule will be released no later than Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Send entries payable to KS USAG - 1702 E. 123rd Terrace, Olathe, KS. 66061 In addition to the workout, we will have an informational meeting for all KS USAG Professional members sometime during the day. This is an effort to keep everyone up to date on the activities regarding USA Gymnastics, both in Kansas and nationally. As stated above, the schedule will be determined by the number of athletes participating. This is an annual fundraiser to help further the education of both professional members and athletes in Kansas. By participating, you will be helping us provide educational opportunities for everyone. This will prove to be valuable as we head into 2013, with the introduction of the new compulsories and the re-structuring of the USA Gymnastics JO Program. We look forward to seeing you and your athletes there! This is a USAG sanctioned event. All athletes, coaches, and judges participating must have a current USAG number and in good standing with USA Gymnastics. |

Level 10 National Champions!
Diandra Milliner (Folger's) and Rachel Updike (KGDC) brought home three national champion titles from the Level 10 National Championships.
Both girls were in the Sr. B age group. Region 3 started on vault which Diandra won with a 9.95! Two events later, Rachel won Beam with a 9.6 and both girls scored 9.65 to tie for first on floor.
KANSAS HAS NATIONAL CHAMPIONS ON 3 OF THE 4 EVENTS IN THIS AGE GROUP!
In addition to the individual titles, Region 3 won the Senior B team title. Brittany Webster (KGDC) joined with Rachel and Diandra to provide 9 of the 20 scores that counted for our team, which equaled 56% of the team score.

Taryn Vanderpool (KC Elite) and Rachael Morrison (Folger's) competed in the Sr. C age group. Taryn placed 5th on bars and 11th all around. Rachael placed 9th on vault and 15th all around (there are 56 girls in each age group). The region 3 team in this age group placed 3rd. Rachael's scores counted on all events and Taryn's counted on bars, beam and floor.

Region 3 claimed the overall team title which is determined by how each region places in each age group.
